CEO/Training Center Director at Tomwell Emergency Life Support and Safety Instruction
March 2016 - Present | Denver, ColoradoVeteran founded and operated, Tomwell Emergency Life Support and Safety Instruction (TELSSI) is headed by CEO and Training Center Director Jared Caldwell, and is a Denver based company founded in 2016. Jared started teaching CPR and First Aid as an American Heart Association instructor in 1989, and has seen the evolution of CPR instruction over the past thirty years from technological advances leading to the introduction of the first Automatic External Defibrillators in the mid-90s, to a deeper understanding of physiology resulting in the joint decision by the medical community and the 2010 International Consensus on Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC) Science with Treatment Recommendations (CoSTR) to transition to “compression only” CPR for laypersons more recently. At TELSSI we make use of the American Safety and Health Institute™ and Medic First Aid™ programs under the Health and Safety Institute™ family of Brands for Basic Life Support instruction, a nationally accredited organization of the Continuing Education Coordinating Board for Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). ASHI resuscitation training programs are CECBEMS approved. Students of each class type will receive the same skills presentation regardless of class, combined with more traditional style hands-on, instructor guided and student focused time on CPR mannequins.

National Account Executive at SafePro Guard
August 2014 - March 2016 | Denver, ColoradoSafePro Guard is the manufacturer of the EZLadder Guardian; the world's first and only OSHA compliant, patent pending tool that prevents ladder slippage when moving from roof to roof on residential construction builds. Ladder slippage on double-pulls (roof to roof transitions) account for 43% of all workplace deaths in the United States, (89% in construction related industries) and ladder related incidents account for 80% of all Worker's Compensation claims ($19 million per year- 63% of the national Worker's Compensation medical budget). The EZLadder Guardian gives both the professional who spends his or her time on ladders for a living, and the homeowner who does maintenance on their home, the ability to remain safe while on the roof- all for under $200. I develop relationships with vendors and distributors to make the EZLadder Guardian available to the consumer and the professional, as well as directly with the consumer in direct sales. I work with distributors and retailers on behalf of SafePro Guard to establish a relationship and work through becoming a vendor of product to them.
